VNAB processes your personal data collected as part of the services we provide to you and/or as supplied by you. Listed below are the personal data processed by us:

Special and/or sensitive personal data
We don’t process special and/or sensitive personal data. We have no intention of collecting data on visitors of our website under the age of 16 either, unless they have permission of their parents or guardian. However, we have no way of verifying whether a visitor is older than 16 years. We therefore advise parents to monitor the online activities of their children to prevent the collection of data on children without parental consent. VNAB processes your personal data for the following purposes:

VNAB doesn’t take EDP-based decisions on issues that can have a(n) (considerable) impact on people. These are decisions taken by computer programs or systems without any human intervention (for instance, by a VNAB employee).

VNAB doesn’t retain your personal data any longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data are collected.
Personal data shared with third parties
VNAB doesn’t sell your data to third parties and will not supply them either, unless this is necessary to perform our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. With companies contracted by us to process your data, we conclude a data processing agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. VNAB remains responsible for the processing of these data. If you attend VNAB events or meetings, VNAB may supply your name and, where required, the name of your employer to the organiser or sponsor of the event or meeting. If so, you’ll be informed accordingly in advance when signing up for such an event or meeting.

To make sure the request or objection is made by you personally, we ask you to send a copy of your ID along with it. Please black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone; the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number [Burgerservicenummer (BSN)] on the copy. This for the protection of your privacy. We will respond to your request or objection as soon as possible, but within four weeks at the most.
